The aim of this study day is to provide participants with information to increase their knowledge about breast cancer, breast cancer treatments and breast reconstruction.

Guest Speakers include:

Dr Magdalene Biggar - New Zealand trained general surgeon, with specialist training in breast and endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid and other glands) surgery, which I gained in Australia and England. Working as a Consultant Breast, Endocrine and General Surgeon for Counties Manukau Health at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau SuperClinic, as well as in private practice.

Dr Meredith Simcock - Meredith is a fully New Zealand trained Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon. She is a consultant at Middlemore Hospital and is on the medical committee of the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.

Jenny Wagner - Jenny works at Middlemore Hospital where she manages a wide range of acute and elective general surgical conditions, her main interest is breast and thyroid surgery. Jenny is a member of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Michelle Locke - Dr Locke has undertaken two years of additional Fellowship training in all forms of breast reconstruction, as well as microsurgery, oculoplastics and aesthetic surgery. Her clinical area of specialty is breast reconstruction. In the private sector she performs only breast surgery.
