This fitness class with former Cirque du Soleil performer Bianca Paine is about having fun while you learn new techniques for toning your body.

Each week’s slow and controlled ‘burn class’ will focus on different parts of the body that many women struggle to keep toned, including the bum, legs and tummy.

As you learn more about how the body works and what areas are important to strengthen, you’ll learn exercises that you can continue to practice at home.

While performing with Cirque du Soleil, tutor Bianca Paine did intense rehabilitation for an injury and learnt many useful techniques for re-building her strength.

“This taught me a lot of patience but also made me become super passionate about improving our bodies and strength and I love sharing that with others! My new short course is designed with the goal of making women feel string and good about their bodies. We’ll listen to awesome, inspiring music in an encouraging, fun environment.”

This class is open to all levels of ability.

Teaching artist Bianca Paine's performing career began in hip hop dance. She was part of The Royal Family Dance Crew, founded Parris Goebel, for 4 years, performing, touring, and teaching for the company. She also competed at the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas three times, bringing home two gold medals and one bronze. Bianca helped to create and performed in Cirque du Soleil's 'Michael Jackson ONE' in Las Vegas for two years. She then moved back to New Zealand and completed an acting diploma at The Actors’ Program. More recently, Bianca has performed in countless pantomimes with The Stage Company NZ (directed by Nancy Schroder). She made her professional musical theatre debut with The Court Theatre, playing a fierce Merry Murderess in 'Chicago'. She starred in Shortland Street as the feisty Miranda Rudd and was on the Pop- Up Globe stage as Titania in The Children’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is trained in the RBM Syllabus, which she has taught for two years.
