Camp Morley

Why camp?
1. Free from distractions. For many of us, this world is full of responsibilities and activities that divert our minds from God. No relationship can grow if we don't invest in it, and we and the kids won't invest in something unless it becomes a priority for them. Attending this camp removes all the factors of school, its popularity, video games, etc., allowing us and the children to focus exclusively on the Lord, His Word, and communion with other believers.

2. Breaking the "comfort" of home. School, work, and home can quickly become routine, but challenges and adversities are really what promote growth. Being away from family, friends, and television is not always fun, but it makes us appreciate their lives more. They will return from the camp knowing better the Word of God, and with a good disposition to continue learning from Him in daily life.

3. Strengthening of character. Leadership, endurance, and teamwork (to name a few) can emerge in a field setting faster than almost anywhere else. Some projects and activities require collaboration, in the camp we will teach that we work respectfully side by side. Leaders emerge quickly, personal limits are tested, and independence grows when we discover nature, God, and also learn new skills.

All this leaves deep indelible marks on those who attend, which produce great changes; You are not the same person because God makes marvels in each one during the days of camping.
