Celebrating 'Imagining Decolonisation'

‘Imagining Decolonisation’, a short book authored by Bianca Elkington, Rebecca Kiddle, Moana Jackson, Ocean Mercier, Mike Ross, Jennie Smeaton and Amanda Thomas and published by Bridget Williams Books, has held a top ten spot in Unity’s bestseller list for much of the last year.

We are honoured to have renowned speaker, educator, advocate, activist and co-author Dr Moana Jackson (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Porou and Rongomaiwahine) speak. Dr Jackson is a Treaty of Waitangi expert, Indigenous rights legal scholar and one of New Zealand’s most important legal scholars and leaders. His work has influenced generations. He tirelessly works towards a nation that truly represents Te Tiriti and his seminal work on constitutional reform and criminal justice have been hugely influential both here in Aotearoa and internationally.
