"The City of Auckland Singers are excited to be returning to Thames for our Concert on Sunday 2nd May at 2 pm.
We look forward to presenting some old favourites such as Old Devil Moon, Memory, a rousing Medley of songs from the '60s, and also some more modern songs such as Perfect, Amazing and What Do I Know.
We have a lovely mix of enjoyable music to share with you, and our Forever Country Medley will be a great way to finish the concert for our friends in Thames.
This well-established show choir is passionate about entertaining its audiences.
Popular music is the main focus - classic hits from the 50’s to the present day.
Talented soloists and trios add variety to the programmes.
The group also has some 20th century and traditional New Zealand music for more formal events.
Performing at concerts, social functions, festivals and local events is their forte. They have sung with other top choirs and bands, at major venues in the Auckland region. In recent years, the singers have had the honour of representing New Zealand, when travelling overseas with their music.
