Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop and the award-winning team from Under The Stars bring you a very special evening of stargazing. Join us from 5:30pm for a welcome cocktail and canapes, followed by a selection of local and imported fine wines. Becky will teach how to use the stars to navigate, work out the season and the time of year and thrill you with stories and legends from around the world that are written in the sky. Learn about and identify stars and constellations, galaxies and nebulae, the planets and the Moon and have a closer look back through time through binoculars and a huge portable telescope. See Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s famous moons and marvel at the size of the Milky Way. It will be a memorable night! This is an outdoor event so rug up - in the case of rain we will transfer to July 16th. Restricted, ages 18+
