Comedy Shots - Get Your Dose of The Best Medicine

TheatreWorks Birkenhead host the first professional Improv company to be established in NZ, ConArtists.

Collaboration between two successful theatre companies brings comedy to Birkenhead, as community and professional theatre help each other out after a difficult 2020.

ConArtists, the home of Theatresports, was established in 1987 launching the careers of the likes of Oliver Driver and Jay Laga'aia and featuring Lucy Lawless and many other talented actors. This year they bring their new show, “Comedy Shots” to TheatreWorks.

“Comedy Shots” gives the audience the power. We’re all thinking about getting our shots at the moment and we hope to give you a boost of well being and fun, as we all know laughter is the best medicine.
After last year, everyone needs a good chuckle. Improv is nothing to be scared of. We won’t drag you up on stage or make you do anything you don’t want to.
