This course is presented in two parts.

Part One: Meditation Workshop | 10.00 –1.00pm

We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this fact. At this morning course, Kelsang Luma will explain Buddha’s teachings on the process and meaning of death. Such an understanding makes every moment of our life meaningful now and enables us to meet our death joyfully, without fear.

Part Two: Guided Powa Practice | 2.15pm – 4pm

Powa is an uplifting traditional Buddhist practice in which we transfer the consciousness of those who have recently died, or our own consciousness, to a Pure Land. In this session, gain experience of how we can use the beautiful Powa prayers to help those who are dying or deceased, and how our own practice of Powa enables us to face our death with a joyful mind.

Suitable for beginners and advanced. Everybody is welcome

She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 15 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practising his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.
