Detention: Uncensored

Asylum Seekers Equality Project is a student group from Victoria University’s Law School that aims to achieve equal rights for Convention Refugees and Quota Refugees in New Zealand.
Prominent speakers will be part of the panel, namely, Golriz Ghahraman, Meg de Ronde, Tania Mead and Ibrahim Omer.
They will be imparting their knowledge and offering their perspectives and insight on the issue of detention. Specifically, why this distinction exists and potentially how we as individuals offer solutions and take action.
