Inviting Aucklanders to celebrate the East Auckland Lantern Festival.

This festival (also called Yuan Xiao Festival) is a Chinese celebration marking the last day of the Chinese New Year and the first full moon of the lunar new year. Traditionally lanterns are hung during Chinese New Year and are said to scare off the mythical Nian monster, a fierce beast.

Come and enjoy spectacular lantern displays across Mitre 10 MEGA Botany.
