A gathering of souls exploring the wonders of ecstatic dance.
The following Sundays this summer - 19th December, 26 December, 2 January, 9 January, 16 January. Everyone is welcome but numbers are STRICTLY LIMITED. Please book your spot each week using the link, to ensure we are under 25 people, no matter the light. We will have a defined space by the use of rope and cones, as per the covid framework.
Please, be kind, sign in, wear your mask, and bring your good vibes to the tribe. For those of you new to ecstatic dance, please familiarise yourself with the three simple principles of the community -
We Dance Barefoot
This allows us to connect more fully with the Ground (socks are OK).
If you have a physical condition that you need dance shoes, then OK.
We Dance Without Words
This makes it easier to be in a Meditative State.
No Verbal Instruction from the Facilitators.
No Talking from the Dancers.
We Dance As We Are
No Drugs/Alcohol, No Phones, No Camera/Video, No Scents, No Expectations, No Judgements, No Shoulds, No Oughts…
Just Be Yourself; With Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another.
For more info, check out the Ecstatic Dance website.
We will be barefoot on Papatunuku under the pohutakawas, or if inclement weather is present, we will gather in the soundshell.
This gathering is brought to you by Monique from Natural Wisdom.
