Hutt Valley Orchestra's first concert for 2021 features music by the Czech composers Dvorak and Smetana.

The concert opens with a brass Fanfare and continues with Dvorak's stirring Festival March, the Czech Suite and the moving Adagio movement from Symphony no 8. Smetana's Symphonic Poem "Die Moldau", which describes the many moods of this river as it travels from the Bohemian Forest to Prague, will be a highlight. The conductor is Brendan Agnew.
