Enjoyable and fast-paced, this class explores the versatility and techniques of acrylic paints with emphasis on abstract design principles. Fabulous tutor demos and step-by-step guides. This is a 9-week class. James Lawrence is a practising artist based in Auckland. His practice involves a strong intuitive process and expressive brushwork and layering which allows for chance discoveries. Interested in the autobiographical nature of painting, James often re-works his paintings, creating a layered history of the process.
