F.A.W.C! Flights to Savour

An afternoon for sharing – Hawke's Bay Wine is teaming up with Il Pirata to spend an afternoon delighting in a wine and food experience that highlights the exquisite bounty Hawke’s Bay has to offer.
Enjoy a flight of six Hawke's Bay wines that are each accompanied by a different share plates created by the Il Pirata team.
This relaxed event and family style tables and service will allow foodies to gather and chat, meet new people, share with your friends and discuss the luscious wines and delectable bites they are enjoying.
Local winemakers will be on hand to guide you through the wines and discover their origins, food-pairing and regale you with anecdotes on a casual winter's afternoon. This is an opportunity for F.A.W.C!ers to discover, taste and share some of Hawke's Bay's lesser-known wines in a fabulous location with Il Pirata fare, with lashings of fun and laughter on the side.

Ticket price includes: six wines to tasted (tasting pours of 40mls), six different dishes presented as sharing plates and printed tasting mat to takeaway. Tea and coffee available at additional cost.

Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C!
