Patrizia and Rod have been on Rewa Rewa Station for 10 years, after immigrating from Italy and the UK. Rewa Rewa Station operates as both a traditional beef and sheep farm, and Patrizia produces stunning natural wool and fibers. The farm was recently featured on the “Homespun” episode of Country Calendar!
Come along, meet the animals, see our farm dogs at work with the stock, enjoy a beekeeping demonstration, learn how to spin wool, and enjoy a drive up the hills of Rewa Rewa.
Children are welcome but will need to be supervised at all time, there are no special activities planned for children and some of the activities like beekeeping may not be suitable for children due to lack of protective gear. If we deem the activity not suitable for your children, we will let you know and ask you to sit out the activity!
The farm tours will operate at 10 am midday and 2 pm. Visitors should expect to be with us for 2 hours. On the drive-in, you will see the parking, and the sheep dog demonstrations will be right next to that. Visitors then walk up to the crafts area, where they will divide into 2 lots. Half will go out to see the bees, on a beekeeping demonstration, the other half will look at the crafts which include a wool spinning demonstration, plus we will have craft such as soap, beeswax and honey for sale - we are cash only. Visitor groups will then swap over! Next visitors will go up the farm for a drive (our drivers, our vehicles) up the hill. Because of this structure, we ask that people do please be on time!
