Farming Women Tairawhiti (FWT) invite you to join us at our annual Mix & Mingle.
Enjoy a glass of bubbles or juice with canapés while connecting at a social and inspirational evening.
The Mix & Mingle kicks off each year for FWT, creating an opportunity for rurally based women to connect with old friends and meet new ones.
Guest Speaker Kristy McGregor is founder and publisher of Shepherdess, a new magazine launched in March 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Shepherdess is about rural and regional New Zealand, particularly celebrating the roles women play.
Alongside the magazine, Kristy is working on a number of storytelling projects and events that connect women in rural New Zealand.
Prior to Shepherdess, Kristy worked in community engagement and resource management policy roles. Since its inception Kristy has been on the organising committee of the popular Channel Country Ladies Day in the Western Queensland outback.
