Darkroom and RDU 98.5 FM present the latest seminar in their series of free, informal, peer-run artist development sessions
We've got a panel of sound technicians who work live gigs as well as in recording studios lined up to come explain just what it is they're doing when they're pushing all those buttons.

Whether you're playing live gigs or thinking of recording some music, this is the seminar for you! All welcome from beginner to pro, these are supportive and informal sessions where no question is too silly to ask.

They'll cover:
- What they're doing at a sound check, what order they do things in and why
- What it is they're mixing, adjusting and aiming for at a live show
- The process for recording music in a studio setting, and what they do during the mixing and mastering process to get them ready for release.
- General info about the types of microphone and other equipment they use for live gigs and recording sessions
- And they'll answer any other questions you might have about their line of work

Weds May 19th
7pm doors, seminar kicks off 7:30pm

It's free to attend and we'll even provide free snacks! The bar will be open if you want to buy a drink.
