Friday Night Live

Friday Night Live It's once a month, usually the third (sometimes the second or fourth) Friday. Grafia with its core musicians, Keith Austin on keyboards and Rob Maunsell on vocals, guitar and harmonica, hosts and supports local musicians to play at the wonderfully atmospheric Coco Dessert Cafe/bar by the lake in Masterton's QE II Park.

There will be a variety of performers both solo and in groups of two (sometimes more) playing some original songs and other's that are covers of blues, folk-rock, Irish and Americana styles.

Bob and Kate, with their blues/ folk/ Americana instrumental and vocal styles conveying great human sagas and musical vistas.
Coral and Matt will be cooking up a grunge rock storm with Coral's raunchy vocals to the fore and Matt's solid keyboard sounds holding the duo together rythmically .
Starting the evening will be Noemi and Willy playing acoustic guitars and harmonising their unique voices with a magical effect. Most of their songs are originals.

Grafia, with Mark Bradley on drums will join us to wind up proceedings 9.15 to 10.00pm

Coco Dessert Cafe/bar is a great place to relax and begin your weekend, particularly after the uncertainties imposed on us by the recent lockdown. Hopefully, you've all come through that none the worse for the experience.
The menu for Friday Night Live is uncomplicated and very tasty, the service friendly and efficient..
