Meet up and arrange carpooling, to drive to Mokairau Station, Whangara. The walk is on the sea side of SH35 – a circuit route, open country, great views.
Need to bring warm clothes as can be brisk on the hilltops.
Visitors are welcome. There is a small charge of $10 which is a contribution towards the car drivers' vehicle costs.
