Paige Julia will be playing alongside Ink resident and Friday night stalwart Greg Churchill. Having smashed it at Ink in April on an earlier instalment of Guests n Residents it is our pleasure to have Paige back. Massively respected by all punters and fellow DJs alike a Greg Churchill set is a thing of rare beauty.

Bevan Keys will open the night from 9pm. One of the finest selectors around, and the other half of Nice 'n' Urlich, Bevan has long reached legend status and his perfect mixing of house, techno, disco and rare groove has been a huge factor in Ink's continued success.

9pm - 11pm Bevan Keys
11pm - 1am Paige Julia
1am - 4am Greg Churchill
Free entry before 10pm.

Paige Julia is a creature that lives on an island in the South Pacific Ocean that spends her time tinkering with sound machines. She has released music with Samsara Beats (US), MalLabel Music (US), Forest Biz (UK), Uncomfortable Beats (AU) and Totally Roasted (NZ). Her music is inspired by the many shades of underground bass culture, navigating the grey area between breakbeat, dubstep, techno, dnb and hip hop.

Her summer is spent adventuring across Aotearoa New Zealand from festival to festival, delivering the world’s up-front bass music intertwined with her own productions. For the remainder of the year a whirlwind club circuit takes hold as she visits any city with a sound system, keeping a busy schedule of developing music for performance and enjoying the process of sharing the experience of dance, frequency and emotion.

In 2021 Paige Julia has expanded her involvement in music culture by engaging in a modular synthesis affair, developing an Ableton Live downtempo side project, becoming a teacher for over 100 new electronic artists and finishing her debut bass music album, titled “Morphling” See Less
