Guided Walk: Gardens

On this guided walk you will explore the methods Cornwall Park's Nursery team use to keep the gardens looking great all year round. Our very own Horticulture Manager Jo Alder will explain details on pricking out, plant growth, hardening off then preparing the bed, planting out and maintaining the gardens - all while wandering from one garden to the next.

Registration is essential and numbers are limited. To register please email info@cornwallpark.co.nz with your name, phone number and how many people would like to attend.

Please dress for the weather conditions, wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink bottle with you. The walk will run for approximately 1 hour.

Location: Meet at the Huia Lodge Discovery Hub

The NZ COVID Tracer QR Code will be present at this event and all participants will be expected to scan the code. The code is also placed around the park, in public toilets and within Huia Lodge Discovery Hub. We ask that all participants continue with their basic hygiene practices while at the event and in the park. This includes hand hygiene (washing for 20 seconds, drying thoroughly or using hand sanitiser), coughing or sneezing into your elbow, and avoiding touching your face. Hand sanitiser will be available at the event. If you are feeling unwell before the event, we ask that you stay at home.
