People who attend Birgit's two-day Harakeke Weaving workshop will finish at least two projects; one kono (basket) and one konae (envelope). “We will cover tīkanga related to working with harakeke and you'll learn the whole process from preparing harakeke through to the finished work,” says Birgit. The class is suitable for beginners with little or no previous weaving experience.
