Hobnail are a trio of Wellington musicians- Rob Joass (vocals, guitar and mandolin) Jo Moir (vocals and violin) and Hamish Graham (a multi-instrumentalist). They play a range of music including Celtic, folk, bluegrass, pop and rock'n roll. Their great songs and wonderful harmonies will have you tapping your feet and wishing to sing along.
They are 3-time finalists in the New Zealand Music Awards, and have won Best Folk Album and Best Country song twice.
The Levin Folk Music Club is delighted to welcome them, along with both members and non-members of our club. Entry price $5. Pay at the door. The evening starts with a short blackboard list, followed by an interval before the main concert begins. Doors open from 7 pm.
