Hurworth Cottage Open Day

Hurworth Cottage will be open for Waitangi Day on Saturday 6 February - with free entry.

Drop-in for a guided tour around this special historic cottage, and spend some time in the small but sweet garden.

Learn about the history of the small Hurworth settlement, how the early Pakeha families lived, and see the cottage built by a man who later became New Zealand's Premier (Prime Minister). Check out some historic graffiti and the tiny upstairs bedroom.
