Indoor plants are a wonderful aesthetic, but imagine if the greenery in your home was tasty and nutritious too.

Learn how to grow a selection of herbs and vegetables year-round indoors. With sufficient light and warmth, you can boost your meals with nutrient-rich greens such as sprouts, microgreens, salads and other vegies, even during the winter months. As a hands-on workshop, you will take away knowledge on how to freshen up your winter plates as well as samples to get you started. The classes are held in The KIOSK at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Just over the footbridge from the Armagh St carpark. Free parking is available for the duration.
