Indoor plants are a wonderful aesthetic, but imagine if the greenery in your home was tasty and nutritious too.
Learn how to grow a selection of herbs and vegetables year-round indoors. With sufficient light and warmth, you can boost your meals with nutrient-rich greens such as sprouts, microgreens, salads and other vegies, even during the winter months. As a hands-on workshop, you will take away knowledge on how to freshen up your winter plates as well as samples to get you started. Participants will take home: Sprouts | Tray of microgreens | Pot of salad/herbs
The classes are held in The KIOSK at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Just over the footbridge from the Armagh St carpark. Free parking is available for the duration.
