2.30 – 3pm Waiata Mai Tamariki Mā with Whaea Tina and Whaea Jo. Have a go at poi, rakau and haka while singing songs in te reo Māori and English.

Waipunārangi, Waitī and Waita are all connected with water. We challenge you to make water-inspired Lego builds!

Printing Press Workshop
Join Graham for a mini workshop using his vintage Albion printing press! There are nine spaces available for this workshop – please email takapunaevents@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz for more information or to reserve a spot for your child. Interested but don’t want to participate? The workshop will be run in the library so come and watch the printing press in action.

Pōhutukawa's Remembrance Candles
Remember loved ones by making a mini tealight candle. This gentle, thoughtful session focuses on the star Pōhutukawa who helps us remember those we have lost (yes, toys too). Suitable for children 8yrs and up although everyone is welcome.
