Kickboxing is a great way to stay fit and also learn to protect yourself. This class is based on the principles of Chinese kickboxing called San Shou or Sanda.
Our school trains in such a way that we support each other to be the best we can. We do not tolerate unnecessary aggression and treat each other as family. Being part of the group means learning from each individual and training with dedication and respect.
Hernan has been exposed to a wide variety of martial arts practices over the last 18 years, and maintains an open mind to all the techniques and styles that are of value. His kickboxing classes teach fighting skills as well as general strength training, balance, coordination, body mechanics, self defense and flexibility.
There are many different styles of martial arts, and some find the more modern forms or boxing more interesting, while others enjoy the more traditional or spiritual lineages. He encourages students to try different classes and find what feels right. He welcomes students to try both this class and his Shaolin Fung Fu class.
