Enjoy a day out at Otago Museum and enjoy this free performance in Otago Museum’s beautiful light-filled Atrium.

The Kowhaiwhai Duo, Bruno Guedea (Mexico/NZ) and Christopher Everest (England/NZ), both prize winners of the New Zealand Classical Guitar Competition, study together at the New Zealand School of Music and have performed as a duo around New Zealand. They will present an exciting programme exploring their individual heritage and shared New Zealand identity. The two have come together under the guidance of Dr Jane Curry (Head of Classical Guitar at the New Zealand School of Music) to perform a collection of folk-inspired arrangements and modern compositions from Mexico, England,, and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Come and sit in the soaring space and let your soul be lifted by these talented musicians sharing their gifts with the community.
