The Cars and The Cure: two of the greatest 80s rock bands both recently inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame will be given a fitting tribute by local NZ musicians.
The Cars from USA with their new wave image covering songs like "Best Friends Girl" "Just What I Needed" and "Good times Roll" and many more.
The Cure from the UK with their gothic image and set of their greatest hits like "The Forest "Boys don't Cry " and " Friday I'm in love" and many more
The band members:
George Curach - Lead Vocals and Guitar
Rick Penney - Bass
Grant Newman - Keyboards, synthesisers and guitar
Greg Arnott- Drums
Band members George and Rick both from Dargaville will be reminiscing times when these songs were performed locally back in the 80s.
