Lumino City - Wellington Lantern Festival: CANCELLED

As the lights dim around the world, planes come to a standstill and movement is forbidden. Wellington Lantern Festival invites you to dive into a new and exhilarating world full of vivid lights and sensory experiences as you step into the glowing metropolis that is Lumino City.

The 15th & 16th of October will see Wellington's waterfront light up from end to end as Lumino City’s bright lights and lanterns take over the waterfront. Live performances cover three stages, tasty treats and funky beats accompany over 30 enormous lanterns and light displays.

We had over 85,000 people attend last year’s festival and this year will be even bigger. Don't miss out - Lumino City is a must-do this October.
