For the August concert, the programme will include works that are not originally written for the pipe organ but sounds great as solo organ pieces. The organ transcriptions include the Moonlight Sonata (L. van Beethoven), March Militaire (F. Schubert), Adagio in g min (T. Albinoni) and Meditation from ‘Thaïs’ (J. Massenet). Entrance by Koha for the organ fund.

Since 2019, Music in Sacred Spaces has inspired artists and communities around the world. Developed by Artistic Director Eon Malan, this initiative has presented concerts in beautiful venues in unique locations, from humble local parish churches to impressive cathedrals and concert halls. After being launched in Cape Town, South Africa, Music in Sacred Spaces has a clear vision: To bring music to communities where the venues and instruments exist. This creates a platform for local artists to share their talent, and for the community to experience top-end music on their doorstep.
