Join artist Andrea Gaskin as you draw inspiration from the ceramic works on display, created by over a hundred older people living in Auckland. You will be guided to create two of your own ceramic works and personalise it with texture, colour and line inspired by the works in the Toi Ako exhibition. Your works will be kiln-fired and glazed and added to the installation!
No art experience necessary.
This workshop was made possible with the generous support of Creative NZ and Connect the Dots.

Make Moments is a programme that connects and engages older people, and people living with dementia, with creativity. Delivered by Connect the Dots’ trained and passionate arts educators, participants can engage in facilitated art discussion tours and art-making workshops with a focus on exploration of ideas and experimentation of processes and techniques. These workshops engage participants in intellectual stimulation, cultural engagement and social interaction.

10 participants max, suitable for seniors. To register contact the gallery on 06 871 5095 with your preferred time.
