Well I guess you know me by now. I’ve been playing dulcimer and guitar in Auckland folk clubs
since 1976. This month I’m celebrating my latest CD of my favourite dulcimer songs called ‘Downtown Dulcimer’ recorded with friends in 2020. As usual there will be country, both contemporary and old-time, some folk, gospel and original songs. You might hear a tune from the set lists of days gone by from my time in the groups ‘Gentle Annie’, ‘Too Far Gone’ and ‘Martha and the Backseat Drivers’. It wouldn’t be quite right without some harmony and wonderful pickin’ so I will be joined by some good friends who I will call ‘The Veranda Band’. The night will be like a jam you might have on the veranda some late summer afternoon. Come on along!
