The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Society New Zealand are pleased to provide a personal finance presentation by Mary Holm.
Arguably NZ's favourite financial agony aunt, Mary will talk about the investment issues her Weekend Herald readers and RNZ and podcast listeners get wrong. She will illustrate these with examples - sad, funny, inspirational - from her new book "A Richer You: How to Make the Most of Your Money".
This will be a fun and interactive event with practical takeaways for all attendees, regardless of age, stage, or financial position.

About The Speaker
Mary Holm is an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM), for services to financial literacy education. An award-winning columnist, she writes on personal finance and is interviewed fortnightly on money issues on National Radio. She is a director of Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL), and frequently discusses personal finance in the media.
Mary was a founding director of the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) from 2011 to 2019, and Director of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme for six years ending January 2016. She lectured in Financial Literacy at the University of Auckland and has been a financial reporter and business editor.
She is the author of seven books including: A Richer You: How to Make the Most of Your Money (HarperCollins), and Rich Enough? A Laid-Back Guide For Every Kiwi (HarperCollins).
