Mass of the Children

Nelson Civic Choir and the Nelson Youth Choir with guest soloists Lilia Caparnelli and Chris McRae present Rutter’s ‘Mass of the Children’, Mendelssohn’s ‘Hear my Prayer’’, and Ireland’s ‘Greater love hath no man’. Special guest concert pianist is Matteo Napoli.

Nelson Civic Choir’s first concert of the year will be celebrated with the Nelson Youth choir and orchestra to present Rutter’s ‘Mass of the Children’ with guest Soprano soloist Lilia Caparnelli and Baritone/Tenor, Chris McRae.

In addition, the choir will perform Mendelssohn’s ‘Hear my Prayer’’, and Ireland’s ‘Greater love hath no man’ with organist Alan Gray. We will also be treated with special guest concert pianist Matteo Napoli.
