It’s Wine Tasting time once again at The Pizza Library Mount Maunganui and this time we will be hosting an evening with Monica Hendry of Coopers Creek Wines.
Cooper’s Creek is one of New Zealand’s Winery success stories starting from a small vineyard in Kumeu in 1980 to becoming one of the big players in the New Zealand wine landscape. They have a policy of sourcing their varietal grapes from regions when each variety is grown best Gisborne (Albarino, Malbec, Viognier), Hawkes Bay (Chardonnay, Syrah, Cab, Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot), Marlborough (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris) and Central Otago (Pinot Noir). Monica will be taking us on a journey through the history of Coopers Creek and through their “Select” range of wines which super premium, where possible single vineyard and only available in Restaurants and Fine Wine Stores.
