McGregor Bay Wetland Weeding Working Bee

In celebration of World Wetlands Day (2nd) the McGregor Bay wetland Society is organising a Weeding Working Bee & BBQ to actively support our coastal wetlands.

Meet at the southern end of the wetland and bring gloves, grubbers, rakes and your favourite weeding weapon. Plan is weeding in the morning, to avoid the heat of the day, but reconvening at the Medlock’s place for a BBQ and drinkies at 5:30pm (bring salad & tipple) to be part of this international celebration. Caring for the land and foreshore, which we all enjoy and have obligations to, is in the spirit of kaitiakitanga.

All wetlands, swampies, locals and visitors are welcome to join in.
