If you, or your family have a connection to Mesopotamia Station, or an interest in the high country of New Zealand, then this film afternoon at the historic Geraldine Cinema will be a treat!
Drawn from the Prouting family film archives, this 2 hour home movie experience highlights life, as it was, on the station in the 1950s and 1960s. This would be a perfect outing for the older generations in your family - grandparents especially.
The movies feature many locals who worked on and around the station during this time and includes narration by family members.
A fundraiser for the good works of St Andrews Church Geraldine.
This will be a fascinating glimpse into high country life and an afternoon not to be missed!
