Looking for an awesome school holiday activity?

The Methven Scarecrow Trail is a school holiday activity for children, families, everyone. Methven is Just one hour's easy drive from Christchurch, so why not grab the whole family and come to find and identify more than 40 Scarecrows placed around Methven Village.

The trail is open for the whole of the April school holidays, and Scarecrow Hunters of all ages can pick up a Scarecrow Trail Map entry form and walk (or scooter/bike) around the village hunting for the characters. It will take you at least a day to find them all so if you have little ones, why not stay the night and do it over a few days.

There are prizes for the most correct answers and for the best scarecrow as voted by those taking part in the Trail.
