Our heroine Moana teams up with demigod Maui on a great oceanic adventure. Maui, who slowed the sun and fished up the North Island of Aotearoa, is one of the Pacific Ocean’s greatest seafarers.
Bundle up the whanau, grab a blanket or picnic chair and join us on the edge of the forest as we celebrate our voyaging history with a free screening of Moana - one of the greatest family films of the last decade.
Head-up to the lookouts and take in the sunset views of the Waitematā and Manukau Harbours. Pre-movie entertainment starts at 7 pm with waiata and a Tawhiriao.
Don’t worry it’s not a school night (Easter weekend). Grab a sausage sizzle and cake from the Friends of Arataki. The BBQ will be hot from 6:30 pm – cash only.
