Movies in Parks is a series of free family movie nights in Palmy neighbourhoods throughout the summer. Grab the picnic basket, beach chairs and the whānau for a great afternoon out.

The PPPC team will be running a Litter Picking Challenge in the local area from 3pm. Channel your inner WALL.E and see how much litter you can collect before the movie starts! All litter picking equipment provided.

Here's the plan:
- Find us by the Plastic Pollution Challenge flags from 3pm to register and pick up a picker-upper and bag.
- Collect as much litter as you can by 3.45pm.
- Report back, weigh in and have a kōrero about what we all found.
- Sit down, put your feet up, watch the trailers and enjoy the main movie.

We'll be weighing all of the litter collected. However, if you have a smartphone, you can download the Litterati app and count how many pieces of litter you collect too. Download Litterati here: https://www.litterati.org/

Please wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring some gardening gloves or similar if you have them. We’ll provide hand sanitiser, sunscreen, some gloves and all other equipment.

Remember your refillable drink bottle as there'll be a water station on site.

WALL.E starts at 4:30pm
