New Zealand's 9 piece Balkan brass extravaganza: Niko Ne Zna are thrilled to bring you their Goulash Party | Dine and Dance!

Are you craving a different experience that's not just another live gig at a bar? We have got you covered for this one-off special event! You will be transported to nostalgic times of old when people ate great food, drank together and danced into the night! Combing the amazing troika of great music, tasty food and beautiful company for a truly memorable experience.

Picture a delightfully retro hall with long tables with food and drinks available throughout the evening. After dinner Niko Ne Zna with be providing a trademark stonking live set including fresh new tunes as well as all the classic Balkan dance floor favourites.

What is Goulash? Goulash is a delicious stew of meat and vegetables seasoned with paprika and other spices. Perfectly in time with the coming cooler weather to warm up the heart, stomach and senses. Its origin traces back to the 9th century to stews eaten by Hungarian shepherds. Born in Hungry, Goulash is an immensely popular dish in Central and Eastern Europe. The meal will be prepared by our professional chef and both meat and vegetarian options will be available.

The event will be held at the wonderful Dom Polski (Polish House) located 257 Riddiford St, Newtown, Wellington.

Doors open 6 pm.

There will be a fully licensed cash bar stocked with craft beer and wine goodness!

Niko Ne Zna is a world-class world music extravaganza. A staple of the New Zealand festival circuit and frequently selling out shows at home and more recently in Australia. A hot and spicy taste of the old countries right here in the capital of New Zealand. Playing captivating original music as well as classic songs from the Romani-soaked Balkan States, Niko Ne Zna’s hypnotic melodies and wild infectious rhythms will set even the most rhythmically challenged moving and grooving!
