A festival of over 30 Christmas trees decorated by schools, non-profit organisations and businesses . Prizes of $300 of advertising with The News in three categories for the winners of the best tree.
The festival is open to the public to enjoy and vote for their favourite tree, there is also a wishing tree and a remembrance tree.

Tickets will be sold for five lovely Christmas raffles baskets including a Christmas cake. Proceeds from the festival will be given to Karanga Mai parents college and Rachel's house both helping women and children in the community. Karanga Mai based at Kaiapoi High school gives young mothers a chance to complete their education and provides childcare for their little ones. Rachle's house supports young parents to have, keep and parent their children.

Business can be a part of this event by sponsoring and decorating their own tree or sponsoring a school or non profit organisation to decorate a tree.

The Festival will be open on Sunday 12th during the Santa Parade.
Entry is by Gold coin donation and includes voting, children are free.
Come along and enjoy the Christmas spirit at this festive event organised by Soroptimist of North Canterbury.
