Bold, contemporary and oh so fresh! The NZ Art Show is back in 2021, set to impress with a stunning collection of more than 150 artists, carefully curated and selected to represent the best of NZ art. All under $5,000 - the ideal place to start or add to your collection.
In its 18th year, the show stands behinds its artists and promises a remarkable exhibition of fresh works, cementing its reputation as leader in its field as NZ’s largest art sale. The 3 day event held over Queen’s Birthday weekend at Wellington’s TSB Arena will showcase both emerging artists and established artists across all genres, opening up the world of art to hungry collectors and curious first timers. An iconic Wellington event not to be missed!
New to the show this year is the Richard T Nelson Sculpture award, rewarding creative talent and craftsmanship. The awards are valued at $20,000 with a premier prize of $15,000 and five highly commended prizes of $1000 each. Up to 80 small sculpture works will be on display with all works for sale during the show.
Art can and should be enjoyed by everyone. We want every New Zealander to own a piece of original NZ art, and with an average sale price of $650 we make it affordable and accessible. The NZ Art Show is a hub of artistic curiosity for over 10,000 art lovers each year, and offers a relaxed and fun environment welcoming all walks of life.

Show day tickets can be purchased from the NZ Art Show website or at the door. Gala Evening tickets are limited and can only be purchased online, until they sell out.
