The extensive heritage gardens, expansive lawns and woodland plantings make this a popular place for strolls and picnics. When Mona Vale was privately owned by a rich-lister family at the turn of the century, a live-in gardener, who had separate living quarters, was required. Get a feel for how the other half lived by the river.
