Paekakariki Film Festival 2021

The third annual Paekakariki Film festival is on again! - curated by Andrew Armitage of Aro Video and brought to you by your passionate festival team.

Our last festival was such a great success, sometimes to overcapacity and for 2021 we have another ripper for you!

June 6: Local Hero (UK, 1983)
June 13: The General (USA, 1926) (Live accompaniment by Gilbert Haisman)
June 20: Eighth Grade (USA, 2018)
June 27: Births, Deaths & Marriages (NZ, 2019) (including Q & A time with the film makers)
July 4: American Utopia (USA, 2020)
July 11: Pop Aye (Thailand, 2017)
July 18: The Band Wagon (USA, 1953) (1950s dress up finale, win prizes!)

Casual door sales cash only.

We are improving the refreshments even further. We will have running each film evening 'The Film festival Cafe' run by our fine cafe crew and sponsored by beach Road Deli and Paekakariki Village Grocery Store. Delicious treats!

We have upgraded our sound and vision equipment to bring you a superb cinematic experience for 2021!
