This event is an annual event run by the Palmerston North Hot Rod Club, it is always held on the 1st Saturday in August & always will be. This year's event marks 50 years of this club running this event, it is an Automotive swap meet only no household goods are allowed.

This event also brings along with it a great display of Classics Cars & Hot Rods that people bring from all over the country, these cars are then parked up for us all to look at and admire, we have had around the 700 cars on display, a great spectacle on its own.

The swap meet usually gets around the 150-200 swap plots of all sorts of wonderful parts for your car or truck., new and second hand. There are also around the 50-60 Trade displays inside the main covered arena that represent a wide variety of automotive businesses.

There are Trade sites available and if your are wanting one best you email the club, the outside swap plots are on a hard surface and are also $10 for the plot. At about lunch time, so say about 12.30 pm you will be able to take your classics car or Hot rod around the track at Manfeild, car must have rego, wof & you must fill in a waver.
