Panama Matariki Festival

Come together and celebrate Matāriki with our Panama Whānau! Enjoy a day of fun activities and delicious kai.

10am-12pm: Opening of Panama Matāriki Celebration with Powhiri, kapa haka and morning tea

12pm-2pm: BBQ and Festival on Peace Ave with fun activities, facepainting, climbing wall and more

2pm-6pm: Workshops at Taha Awa Riverside Community Centre featuring Stardome, Star Compass, Raranga weaving and more

6pm-8pm: Hangi, dessert, kapa haka and performances at Panama Road School (Halal options available too)

In collaborations with Auckland Rowing Club, Waka Ama Club, Panama Road School, Panama Storehouse, Bunnings Warehouse Mt Wellington, Panama Collective, Te Karanga Trust.
