PnW, (Percussion and Weight) is a brand new rave forged by Finlay Anderson (Percy The Kid). Based in Christchurch the night aims to bring a wide array of more leftfield sounds together, drawing influences from genres such as Grime, UK Bass/Funky/Techno, Dubstep, Juke, Footwork, Electro, Breaks, Jungle, 2 Step, Garage and a splash of ghetto booty house. One of the goals of the night is to give DJ's a platform to pummel the audience with the most savage fucking riddims in there rekordbox, giving selectors who often feel restricted in some spaces, space to experiment in whatever sounds they like. Another goal is to highlight up and coming fresh faces. Pushing them into the deep end and having lots of debut club sets from the youth of NZ.
