Tararua District Library annual poetry competition. Wow us with your poetic prowess and win the prize and the glory! @NZPoetryDay

Rules:
Entry open to all New Zealand residents aged 16 or over. Entries close 4pm Friday 20 August 2021.
Entries must contain your name, age, address and phone or email.

Maximum 2 entries per person - must be in English. All entries must be the original and unpublished creation of the submitter.

Send entries to library@tararuadc.govt.nz (in MS Word or Publisher or in body of email, OR hand in at any of our branches, OR mail to 1 Station Street, Dannevirke 4930 NZ.

At least one entry will be published on our blog/Facebook, as selected by us.

By entering, you grant Tararua District Library exclusive royalty-free and irrevocable license to copy, store, distribute and publish your submitted poem/s.

To keep poems relatively anonymous for judging purposes, authors will be identified as [your first name] & [first initial of your last name].

There is one prize, for the best poem, as selected by our judge. The judges decision is final.
The winner will be announced on National Poetry Day 27 August 2021, on our blog and Facebook, and will also be contacted.
